Miodrag Filipovic is an anaesthtist-intensivist and the Head of the Division of Perioperative Intensive Care Medicine at the Kantonsspital St.Gallen, Switzerland. He is an expert in the perioperative management of patients at cardiovascular risk and has conducted multiple trials on perioperative anaesthetic management. He led the BBB-Study on intraoperative blood pressure management in noncardiac surgery and is a Co-Investigator on the AUTOREGULATE-NONCARDIAC study.

Luzius Steiner is an anaesthetist-intensivist and Chief Physician & Head of Anaesthesia at the University Hospital Basel, Switzerland. He is an expert in cerebral autoregulation monitoring and postoperative cognitive disorders, having led several studies on cerebral autoregulation in both the intensive care and perioperative settings, as well as several clinical studies focusing on postoperative cognitive decline and delirium in elderly patients following surgery. He is co-leading the AUTOREGULATE-NONCARDIAC study.

Andreas Vogt is an anaesthesiologist and Chief Physician of the Department of Anaesthesiology and Pain Medicine at Bern University Hospital, Switzerland. He heads the Department of Abdominal and Thoracic Surgery and Liver Transplantation. He is an expert in advanced hemodynamic monitoring, perioperative targeted and closed loop insulin therapy. He has expertise in perioperative translational and closed loop insulin research and is a Co-Investigator on the AUTOREGULATE-NONCARDIAC study.

Patrick Wanner is an anaesthetist-intensivist passionate about improving acute care. Currently he is a Research Fellow at the University Hospital Basel, Switzerland and the Population Health Research Institute / McMaster University, Canada. His research focuses on optimizing haemodynamics in the operating room and the intensive care unit to improve outcomes. He was a Co-Investigator on the BBB-Study on intraoperative blood pressure management and is leading the AUTOREGULATE-NONCARDIAC study on perioperative precision BP monitoring in noncardiac surgery.

Prof. Charles H. Brown IV, MD MHS

COLLABORATOR

Dr. Brown is an Associate Professor and Deputy Vice-Chair of Research in the Department of Anesthesiology & Critical Care Medicine at Johns Hopkins. He is past-President of the Society for the Advancement of Geriatric Anesthesia. His NIH-funded research program focuses on cerebrovascular contributions to delirium and cognitive decline after surgery in older adults.

PD Urs Pietsch, MD

Urs Pietsch is an anaesthetist-intensivist and is currently working as a Consultant in the Department of Perioperative Intensive Care Medicine at the Kantonsspital St.Gallen, Switzerland. His scientific research focuses on emergency medical care for trauma patients and the treatment of neurotrauma and aneurysmal subarachnoid hemorrhage in the intensive care unit. He has conducted numerous studies in this field in recent years and is a Local Investigator on the AUTOREGULATE-NONCARDIAC study.
